21/02 Swirly Swingouts

Decomposing/refreshing: the very basic one Adding footwork variations for lead & follow: the fancy one Advanced variations: Learn how to surprise & take the lead as a follow: the outstanding one This level is for advanced dancers, we expect you to be comfortable with basic swing out variatons. You’ve had it all and you are ready to take it to the next level.

20/03: Sugar Pushin’

Decomposing/refreshing: rock step triple push or rock step triple step push?

Adding variations: let’s twist again!

Advanced variations: be ready to learn how to add some more sugar 😉. This level is for advanced dancers, we expect you to be comfortable with basic Sugar Push variatons. You’ve had it all and you are ready to take it to the next level.

17/04: Poppin’ the pop turn

Calling all followers to be prepared for the they-see-me-rollin’-vibe! Be ready to take a lot of spins! Off course we will teach you some tricks to be better in control of your (fast) turnings.

Decomposing/refreshing: basic variations of the pop turn

Advanced variations: how to triple step your spins + advanced variations of the pop turn. This level is for advanced dancers, we expect you to be comfortable with basic pop turn. You’ve had it all and you are ready to take it to the next level.

22/05: This class is about mixing lindy floss and barrel rolls.

Decomposing/refreshing: basic variations of the barrel roll

Advanced variations: adding the floss to your barrel rolls, advanced footwork for followers.

19/06 : Let’s end in style!

Now that you’ve given your best shot, it’s time to end your moves in style. This class is all about musicality and endings.

Lindy Hop advanced

Your life is a mix of parties, classes and workshops. You are a confident leader and follower and you can improvise to fast music. Your own dance style and personality shine through which makes the difference for a more personal musicality and mood expression.
You master the different skills needed in Lindy Hop in either slow or fast tempos.

About theTeachers

Verdiana Tedeschi

It all started with a fifties Fiat 500 - since then Verdiana has lived a life of vintage passion: from clothing to hairstyling, furniture and music. So it wasn’t long until she discovered the Lindy during her work as a vintage hairdresser for Radio Modern. Once she got the bounce in her bones, her life changed completely! You can regularly see Verdiana popping up at social dances in Belgium and attending international dance camps and workshops, catching the eyes of the innocent bystanders with her Italian-style Lindy moves. When it comes to swing dancing, for Verdiana it’s all about having fun and moving your body to the music. Musicality is the key for two individuals to become one on the dance floor.

Sven Van houcke

Sven took his first dance steps as a teenager with the slow waltz, quickstep, jive, and disco swing. As a young adult, he stopped dancing because of judo, paragliding, canyoning, and to take care of his family. But a passion for dancing was always in Sven’s blood: a few years ago, together with his partner Elke, he discovered the joys of Lindy Hop and began taking classes at schools across Belgium to develop his skills. Now not a single day passes without him being occupied by Lindy Hop. The social dance floor is his habitat. Sven likes nothing better than passing his passion for Lindy Hop on to others.
