✅ Only old-school vernacular dancers (Leon James, John Bubbles, Consuelo Harris, etc.)

✅ We will look together at the original videos. Links for each will be sent after class.

Jazz is a dance form that promotes authenticity. Though the basic Charleston in its regular form is not (so) hard to perform, you will see that each dancer had their unique way of interpreting this timeless move.
Hopefully this will help you bring more of your inner self into your dancing, and who knows, maybe even create your own Charleston!

This series is designed for all dancers who are already somewhat familiar with jazz dance, either through Lindy Hop classes or previous Solo Jazz lessons. New students who would like to challenge themselves and push themselves a little further are also very welcome.
