I’ve always been fascinated by the rockabilly scene: the shiny cars, the music that instantly makes you move, and that delicious retro style. In 2011, a friend asked if I wanted to go dancing with her — Lindy Hop. I had seen it once before and immediately shouted, “Yes, of course!” And that’s how my dance adventure began. Workshops followed one after another, and before I knew it, I was swingouting in Herräng, Budapest, and Krakow. Meanwhile, my love for blues only kept growing. That music had been in my heart for years, but when I discovered you could dance to it as well… well, then I was completely sold. In 2016, I headed to Berlin for my first blues workshop, and that’s where the spark officially turned into a flame. In 2017, Balboa joyfully joined the mix — a style I still love exploring today. But now? Now I mostly take you along with me… cozy and comfy, on my own soft blues cloud.
