Balboa international weekendin Brussels

We are thrilled to host a full international Balboa weekend in Brussels and warmly welcome Natalia and Vasu!

 

Prepare for three days packed with beginner, intermediate, and advanced-level classes, along with a lively Saturday night party at La Cellule 133 featuring live music by the Herman Quartet. The Brussels Balboa core team—Emilie, Fabienne, Giorgia, and Ellen—will lead the beginner classes, while Natalia and Vasu will take on the intermediate and advanced sessions.

Levels

Balboa beginners

This workshop is open to all levels also for beginners, though a bit of experience with swing dance is beneficial. If you want to learn the foundation of Balboa or brush the dust off your lollies and toss outs, this is the perfect place for you.

Balboa advanced level

You'll want to join this level if:

  • You practice your dancing regularly. E.g. Training time, social dancing, travelling to festivals.
  • You know multiple footwork stylings, and variations on the classic figures, and feel comfortable dancing them above 200-220 BPM.
  • You want to dig deep into concepts, make your dancing look and feel great, and master your overall technique
Balboa intermediate level

You'll want to join this level if:

  • Your Balboa and Bal-Swing basics and classic figures are solid.
  • You feel comfortable dancing Balboa and Bal-Swing up to 180-200 BPM.
  • You want to expand your vocabulary, become a better social dancer, and strengthen your overall technique.
